Adult Resource provides a variety of leisure, recreational and personal development options for adults who have an intellectual disability. Located at 885 Northwood Drive, Adult Resource offers both day and evening supports.

Adult Resource is structured based on the interests, abilities and personal plan of each participant in three main areas:

  • community recreation
  • volunteer placement and support
  • social and skill enhancement

People are encouraged and supported to participate in activities including:

  • exercise
  • music therapy
  • computer training
  • literacy
  • arts and crafts
  • water therapy
  • self-improvement
  • communication
  • interactive virtual therapies
