Community Living Windsor’s Downtown Centre is located at 1225 McDougall Avenue. It is the home base for staff that provide support for individuals who do not want or need support workers present all the time. The individuals who receive support, along with their families, friends and support networks, provide the direction in which their support is provided.
The Downtown Centre also functions as a drop-in centre where people can gather to meet others, get information from support workers, play a game of air hockey or pool, or simply have fun and conversation with friends. The Downtown Center also has a computer lab where twice a week volunteers hold computer literacy and basic computer skills classes. These classes are very popular and interested parties should call ahead for information and availability.
