Home and Vehicle Modification Print E-mail

The Home and Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP) provides funding so that people with physical limitations can do basic home and/or vehicle modifications.

The program was established by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and is administered by the Ontario March of Dimes. By reducing or eliminating life safety risks, HVMP modifications enable children and adults with mobility restrictions to continue living in their homes, avoid job loss, and participate in their communities.

mobility_b.gifPeople who meet the program criteria can apply for grant funding:

  • up to $15,000 lifetime maximum for home modifications
  • Up to $15,000 every ten years for vehicle modifications
