Community Living Windsor's volunteer Board of Directors acts within a policy governance model and is responsible to oversee the execution of its mission and mandate.
The Current Board of Directors
Bernie Mastromattei, Retired Educator, President
Bernie has been a member of Community Living Windsor's Board of Directors since February 1988 and he was recently elected President in June 2016. He retired after thirty five years as a Special Educator. Bernie has been a Trustee for Windsor –Essex Catholic District School Board Wards 3 and 4 since 2010 as well as a former Board member of the St. Clair College Foundation.
LeeAnn Poisson, Principal of Safe Schools, Vice-President
LeeAnn joined Community Living Windsor’s Board of Directors in May 2014 and was elected Vice President of the Board in June 2016. LeeAnn is a Principal- St. John Vianney Catholic School in Windsor, resides in Woodslee with husband Rob of 25 years and is the mother of four daughters, one of which has a diagnosis of Autism/Developmental Delay. In addition to CLW, she is currently a Board Member of Sundowners Day Care, a Past Board Member of: Family Respite Services, Autism Ontario Leadership Council and Lakeshore Lightning Girls Hockey.
Marleen Crawford, Parent
Marleen has been a member of Community Living Windsor's Board of Directors since June 1991. She is a parent of a daughter with multiple disabilities. Marleen is also actively involved in the community as a member of the committee that created Windsor Essex Brokerage for Personal Supports, current board President of Windsor Essex Brokerage for Personal Supports, a member of the committee that created The Snoezelen Room and President of the board that managed the Snoezelen Room. She is a parent advocate at Windsor Essex Family Network and a chairperson of the Windsor Essex Community Planning Committee for Developmental Services.
Cherie Gagnon, Parent & Accessibility Manager, University of Windsor
Cherie and her husband, Grant, are the parents of two wonderful teenagers who live with disability. Cherie is the Accessibility Manager - Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility at the University of Windsor, and a founding board member of Microboards Ontario. Cherie joined Community Living Windsor's Board of Directors in June 2020.
Bruce Montone, Chief of the Amherstburg Fire Department
Bruce joined the Community Living Windsor Board of Directors in June 2016. He is currently Fire Chief for the Town of Amherstburg and has been in the Public Service for over 40 years. Bruce has volunteered in his community and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Diabetes Association, Simcoe County, and is the Past Chairman of the Government Relation Committee for the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs, He has also been Chairman of the Canadian Transportation Emergency Rescue Committee. Bruce is also a certified Program Evaluator by the Canadian Program Evaluators Society.
Shawn Stewart, Civil Litigator
Shawn joined the Community Living Windsor Board of Directors in November 2019. He was called to the bar in June of 2019 and currently works at Millars Law. Shawn was the project manager for Pro Bono Students Canada at Windsor Law, creating projects for local community organizations to attain free legal work from students. Shawn worked as a certified respite worker for Windsor Family Respite and enjoys staying fit, playing sports, and playing music.
Andrew Milloy, Sales Representative
Andrew, our newest board member, has a long history of involvement with Community Living Windsor. While Andrew was in high school, he created a very popular program teaching golf lessons to people on a volunteer basis and he participated in fundraising initiatives held by the agency throughout the years. He currently sits on two committees and is very experienced with hiring, training, budgets and inventory control. At Andrew’s current place of employment he has instituted new procedures that promote employee charitable donations and giving back to the community. He joined the Board of Directors in November 2021.
Sara Moubarak, Lawyer
Sara is an associate in Miller Canfield's corporate law group, representing clients in a variety of corporate and commercial matters. Sara joined the Board of Directors in June 2021.
Cathy Martin, Self Advocate
Cathy Martin has been actively involved with Community Living Windsor for the past 18 years, working closely with Employment Supports to start her own successful catering business. Cathy is a member of People First Ontario and is taking a leadership role to help reestablish the Windsor chapter; she is also an advocate in the Advocates Against Abuse program. Cathy joined the Board of Directors in June 2021.
Tony Tullio, Family Member and Corporate Executive for Fiat Chrysler Automotive
Tony graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Computer Science and holds a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. He has served on 4 Boards in his career, the most recent as Vice President and Treasurer of Maserati Canada, and he currently works for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automotive). Tony has been affiliated with Community Living Windsor for many years, as CLW has supported his brother. He joined the board of directors in 2021.
Carla Campbell, Advocate
Carla joined the Community Living Windsor Board of Directors in 1986, and held office as the Vice President of the Board from 2008 until 2016, continuing on the Board of Directors until June 2021. After taking a brief hiatus of one year, she rejoined the Board of Directors in September 2022. Carla is a wife, mother, and grandmother and has a strong belief and dedication to community service. She has been involved with church youth groups, school service clubs, was a PTA member and a Beaver Leader for Scouts Canada, and continues to be involved in multiple fundraising activities. Welcome back Carla!

Hello. I'm Bernie Mastromattei, the President of the Board of Directors of Community Living Windsor. It is a privilege and honour to use my skills and experience to serve both the community and the people and families supported by Community Living Windsor. On a personal level, my role as a board member has been very rewarding and fulfilling. I am proud to be connected and contribute to shaping an organization that values partnerships and promotes a vision where everyone belongs within their community.
