Community Living Windsor has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and is taking the necessary precautions to help prevent the spread of the virus. Our top priority is to keep the people we support, their families, and our valued employees safe and healthy during this uncertain time.

We implemented a timely unprecedented action plan in response to this situation, which was informed by all three levels of government. This includes the associated health authorities, as well as our leadership team, which has been in touch with us and is sharing our plans and resources with other agencies across the Developmental Services sector in Ontario.

We would like to thank all of our dedicated employees and our union executive for working together with us to implement a plan of such magnitude across the agency. Your commitment to what we do is second to none.

We would like to thank all of the people supported and their families who have been affected by this change and have understood the gravity of the situation. These difficult decisions have not come lightly and we appreciate your understanding.

Finally we would like to thank our business partners who have, and continue to come to our aid, to ensure we have access to the necessary supplies.

We look forward to the day when this plan is no longer needed. In the meantime, know that you and the health of your loved ones is a constant priority for us. Take care everyone.
