CLW Bursaries
Community Living Windsor values the many dedicated individuals and groups who promote the inclusion of people who have an intellectual disability in all aspects of our community.

Each year, awards and bursaries are available that recognize people and groups who exemplify various aspects within developmental services.
Richard Ruston After High School Education Award
In memory of the late Richard Ruston, disability advocate and long-time Community Living Windsor board member, this award supports people who have an intellectual disability to follow their dreams and goals as they continue their education past high school.

This award was formerly called the Community Living Windsor After High School Education Award.

Community Living Windsor Employee Education Bursary
In order to reward efforts made by Community Living Windsor employees towards furthering their education in the field of disability studies, Community Living Windsor employees are eligible to apply for a $1000 bursary (up to 5 bursaries will be awarded annually).

Malcolm Jeffreys Memorial Leadership Award
This $1000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student who demonstrates excellence and leadership promise. For more information about criteria, timing and entry requirements, download the following document:

Community Living Windsor Scholarship
To be eligible to receive a Community Living Windsor Scholarship, a student must be enrolled at St. Clair College as a full-time student leading to a Developmental Service Worker diploma.

Applicants who meet the following criteria will be eligible to apply:

is currently a resident of Ontario
-
has a financial need
-
must be a 2nd year student enrolled full-time in the Developmental Service Worker program
-
must have demonstrated commitment to people who have an intellectual disability and their families
-
must submit letters of reference acknowledging their commitment and dedication to people who have an intellectual disability and their families
Selection of the scholarship recipients will be made by faculty from St. Clair College and a representative of Community Living Windsor.
