Fiesta Capacita

For many years, Community Living Windsor led a special fundraiser called Fiesta Capacita to provide medical aid to children with disabilities in Nicaragua.  Members of our community gave generously so that we could provide support to over 600 children per year in the areas of physiotherapy, cardiology, and orthopaedics.   Hundreds more benefited from receiving anti-convulsant medication.

As a result of political turmoil, the clinic in Nicaragua was discontinued.  Community Living Windsor is committed to ensuring that the charitable gifts from our community members get applied to projects in the same spirit as intended.  Currently we are partnered with the Canada-Honduras Children's Health Initiative to provide medication and supplies to children in need.  Learn more.
